A Foundation of Growth
ARTIST: Sennyo Senn
Acrylic paint on reclaimed Foundation Studios Sign
2024
21 in. x 27 in.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Foundation Studios was a second home to me and my art.
A lot of the critters in this piece are ones that I came up at or for Foundation. Whether it was assignments at Sketchbook Club, hanging out and doodling with other artists, or working on a piece of art to put in my gallery space. I found so much inspiration and support there.
Losing the place itself was even more heartbreaking to me than losing my art in the flood. I am thankful that I got to witness the impact that Foundation Studios had on so many people. This special place will live on through the growth and art of artists that were there.
My part of the donation proceeds from this piece will all be going towards the recovery relief fund of Foundation Studios.
